Personality Chotu has been at KAW for several years, after losing both his eyes due to human cruelty. He is an incredibly calm and gentle dog but can be apprehensive to be friendly due to his blindness. He is the bestest friend a person can have and once he is warmed up to someone he loves them with his whole heart. He's been waiting for years and we are so excited he finally has a chance at a family.

At KAW, all dogs live in a kennel-free environment and co-exist with the 120+ dogs at the shelter. As the shelter currently works only with dogs, we cannot comment on the behaviour around cats, other small animals, or the prey drive. Once moved into a home there can be a shift in behaviour due to the new environment and personalized attention.
