Nina is a very loving female Indie dog. She was brought to KAW in October 2018.
Nina came with a terrible wound on her face, near the mouth and nose. Apparently, she got into a fight and the other dog bit her. The untreated wound resulted in a terrible maggot infestation. We immediately took her to a vet, where the wound was cleaned and maggots were removed. Since then, KAW has had the privilege to make Nina a permanent member of our family. Nina, with her resilience and patience, made a beautiful recovery.
Nina is a very peaceful dog. She will make you fall in love with her in the wink of an eye with her beautiful hazel eyes. Despite her past, Nina is incredibly trusting and has an affectionate and playful personality.
Nina has fully recovered from her injuries and is healthy. Her vaccinations are up to date.
She is currently being taken care of at our shelter. Nina would make the most wonderful, peaceful companion to the person willing to provide her with her forever home. A family with prior experience would be preferable.
